Lesson 4- Measuring Area using standard measurement

Students will start to move into Year 5 Curriculum of choosing appropriate units of measurement.  Previous lessons have been set out for students to gain the foundational knowledge of why we need to choose.  This lesson will challenge students thinking on which unit is the most appropriate.  Students will start by using 1 sq cm to cover objects relating back to our work in lesson 2.
